One of my hobbies, is trying to collect cds and music from my youth. I figured that collecting cds would be the easiest to start with since. They are still readily available and still somewhat inexpensive. Once I fill my cd list, I’ll work on cassettes and the ln vinyl. However, that beings said, while I try to complete my cd collection, there have been several times I’ve gone to the great goodwill locations here in the Rochester area to get good quality cds only to find my hopes dashed because someone could not afford the stupid 1.99 price for said cd, so they resort to shoplifting. Now you do you- shoplift, don’t shoplift, I’m not your daddy. This wouldn’t be so bad, however they leave the jewel case on the shelf. It makes it all the more frustrating when it’s a cd on my “need” list. I’m left with nothing that can be done but leave the empty husk of a cd protection mechanism on the shelf for whoever checks on the cds and add more to the shelf by the great goodwill staff.
